Privacy Policy

In short

Alvilda Studio is a catalogue of original artwork. You can browse all of it without giving us anything: there are no accounts, no shopping cart, and no advertising or analytics trackers. We learn who you are only if you choose to email us.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Alvilda Studio is operated by MRX Software LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what happens to information when you visit alvildastudio.com and the pages it serves.

It does not cover:

  • Your email provider's handling of a message you send us — that is governed by their policy, not ours.
  • Any separate arrangement we make with you to sell a piece, which is agreed directly between us and is not carried out through this website.
  • Other websites we link to, each of which has its own policy.

2. Information you give us

The only way this website invites you to send us anything is by email. If you write to us, we receive your email address, whatever name you sign, and the contents of your message. We use it to answer you and, where relevant, to arrange the sale or delivery of a piece.

To be explicit about what we do not do:

  • We do not operate user accounts, logins, or profiles.
  • We do not take payment through this website. There is no checkout, and we never ask for card or bank details on these pages.
  • We do not run a newsletter or mailing list.
  • We do not buy personal information from data brokers or other third parties.

3. Information collected automatically

Like any web server, ours records a short technical log of each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the page that referred you, and your browser's user-agent string. We use these logs to keep the site running, diagnose faults, and identify abuse such as automated scraping.

We do not use this data to build a profile of you, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.

4. Browser storage

This website sets no cookies of its own. It stores two small entries in your browser's local storage, both of which stay on your device and are never transmitted to us:

You can delete these at any time by clearing site data for alvildastudio.com in your browser settings. Doing so simply returns the site to its defaults.

5. Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or any third-party tracking on this website. No measurement scripts, advertising pixels, or social media trackers are loaded on these pages.

The preference centre lets you record a choice about analytics and marketing in advance. If we ever introduce such tools, they will run only where you have consented, and we will update this policy before doing so.

6. Content from other companies

Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps frame so you can find the studio. When that page loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies or process data under Google's privacy policy, over which we have no control. Every other page on this site loads only from our own server.

7. How we use information

  • To reply to your enquiries and correspond with you about a piece.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure the website.
  • To diagnose technical problems and improve how the catalogue works.
  • To comply with the law and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

8. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only:

  • With the hosting provider that runs our server, strictly to the extent needed to serve the website to you.
  • Where the law requires it, or to respond to a valid legal request from a public authority.
  • Where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim, or to protect the rights and safety of others.
  • To a successor, if the business is ever transferred — in which case this policy continues to apply to information already collected.

9. How long we keep it

Server logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the site, and are routinely discarded. Email correspondence is kept for as long as our relationship with you continues and for as long afterwards as we need it for our records or to meet a legal obligation. You may ask us to delete correspondence at any time — see Your rights.

10. Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to the server and its data is restricted to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; please do not send us sensitive personal information — such as financial or identity document details — by email.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, our lawful bases for processing are our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website and in answering the messages you send us, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@alvildastudio.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, and we may need to ask you for enough information to locate your records.

12. Children's privacy

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Where your information is held

We operate from the United States, and information collected through this website is stored and processed there. If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in a country whose data protection laws may differ from those of your own.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in how the site works or in the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will make that clear on this page rather than relying on the date alone. Please review it from time to time.
